Estate

Can the executor of the estate deny the children access to the Will, forms they signed and monies alotted to them? And 7 years later say that he forgot it was there and want to give it to them, only after he was tried and found guilty of grand larceny and fraud?

Re: Estate

An appointed Executor has a fiduciary duty to report all details of the estate he is in charge of to all people entitles to a share of the estate. This would include assets coming into his possession, income earned, debts and administration expenses of the esate, death taxes paid (if any) and fees and commissions paid and income taxes paid on estate income, if any. There are forms needed from the beneficiaries of the estate to complete the estate with the Surrogate, as well. Contact me directly if you need more information or assistance.
