Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Once a estate does final accounting and closes, can I still dispute expenses paid.I am a beneficuary. New York State Law

My brother is executor and will not let me see anything until estate is closed. Also is he entitled to

take a fee? He Lied throughout process & told me he does not have to show me anything.

Do I need a Lawyer before estate closes, or do I have time after estate closes.
