estates

my aunt died in 2004, she left a will

which is still in probate, why does it take so long to distribute to family members mention in the will?

It depends on what is being distributed. If the distribution is cash, then yes, it is too long. If the distribution is from a business, or commercial property or a personal injury action, the amount of time may be proper.

You should re-submit your question with more information as to what is in the estate.
