Call the Surrogate in the County where Dad resided when he passed away. You need to do an administration and the office can walk you through the procedure. Try to locate a copy of Dad's 2010 tax return which should help you locate assets, if they produced income. You can get a copy from IRS for a small fee. Contact me directly if you need assistance.
