Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

If I was an executive to my mothers estate and she passed away almost ten years ago, there was no money after she died because sdhe owed taxes, lawyers and other debts, Do I have to sumit an accountant record to the surrogate court after 9 years? when I don't have any of the records

Every estate needs to be closed on the records of the Surrogate. I suggest you call their office, explain there were no assets (only debts) and ask what you need to do to close the estate, if it is still open.
