Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I am the executor of an estate. Does the law firm probating the estate (in New York) have to provide me with documents such as will, estate account and letters testamentary, if I request them? The firm probated the estate, which is not yet completed, but the firm does not represent me any longer. Please help. Thank you

There's something strange going on here; you're leaving out a lot of important details. How can you be the executor if probate is not complete? You can call me and I'll try to figure out what's going on and set you in the right direction.

Good luck.
