Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My father passed away and left his house to me and my 3 sisters in the will. My eldest sister is the executor of the will. She has put the house on the market and set the asking price without talking to anyone else. She now has an offer and has not told anyone how much it was. Do we have the right to reject the offer? Also do we have the right to have her change the asking price if we feel it is to low?

While the Executor has the authority to do this, all interested parties should have been notified and asked what they wanted to do. If you are really concerned, this needs to be handled by complaint to the Surrogate's Court where the Will was probated.

If you believe she is abusing her fiduciary responsabilites, you need court intervention.
