Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
forensic account estate
there are 3 executrixes. 1 refused to be placed on estate accounts. All account funds have been managed by other 2 executrixes. The 1 executrix is demanding forensic accounting. Since he is an executrix, does estate have to comply or pay for it? can distribution take place anyway with 2 out of 3 majority?

Re: forensic account estate
I do not know what you mean by forensic accounting. She would be entitled to an accounting that is to be submitted to the Court. She is entitled to challenge the accounting.
Regarding distribution, if there are only 1 or 2 issues in the accounting, the remaining funds may be distributed. The funds were there is an issue should be held pending the determination of the issue.
