how much can I give to my children tax free each year before I die to avoid taxes?

Google it to keep current since I do not want you to rely on stale info when they change it. Remember it is that amt (e.g. $13K) per person per year. So, a husband and wife can give $13K to each child ($26K) then another $26K to the spouse, maybe another $26K to each grandchild...
