My grandmother's living trust and my aunt's responsibilities

I need to know if once a person dies and leaves behind a living trust are the benificiaries legally responsible for prior medical bills.

Depends upon whether living trust was revocable or irrevocabloe. If revocable, it is just another registration of an individual's assets, and could be reached by a creditor to collect payments due. If it were irrevocable, so the assets actually belonged to the beneficiaries, it might not be able to be reached by a creditor. I need to see the document or get more information.
