Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Both my Great Grandmother and Grandmother had set up trusts many years ago. One will was made in the 1930's and the other in 1972. Can those wills or trusts be changed in anyway?

You do not specify what changes you are referring to. The Wills, long since executed and, presumably, long since probated, cannot be changed after the deaths of the testatrixes. The trusts can, plausibly, be reformed if the passage of time has rendered provisions of them impractical or impossible. I would, however, need to know more about the particular provisions that you are questioning.

Good luck to you.
