Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

illegitamate children & a millionaire father

My husband and his siblings were born out of wedlock. paternity was established for all three in 1969. Child support of $20/week was paid for a few years. There has been no contact for over 20 years. They grew up poor and had to move around alot. The boys were even in the foster care system for a time. Their father is now a millionaire (land development) and has a few children with his wife. Do my husband and his siblings have any recourse if they are not mentioned in his will? We don't expect that they will be.

No, only a spouse can take a share against a will when left nothing.
