Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
Inheritance
My brother was left a condo from a friend who had written his will and the 3 surviving siblings honored the will and signed off to my brother...my brother was ill and did not make it up their to sign it. My brother passed away and left my brother and I all his properties. Do we have any claim on this property?

Re: Inheritance
Yes, you and your surviving brother probably have a legal right to the condo. You will probably need the assistance of both a NC and NY attorney to complete the transfer of title (or to sell the condo and divide the proceeds). Feel free to contact my office for a brief complimentary consultation on your options.
Re: Inheritance
Probably. A review of the documents would be necessary. Your brother would not necessarily have needed to sign anything. What you need to do is open your brother's estate in New York (if that is where he was living) and then hire an attorney in NC to help with the ancillary estate. If your brother was in NC, then you might only need an attorney down here.
