Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
inheritance
My mom died recently,my sister and I were to split all assets 50/50,as in the Will.Unbeknown to me my sister had my Mom sign over all assests to her in the few years previous to her death while she was living with her.My mother during that time suffered from dementia and wouldn't remember if she had gone out to lunch or a visit. I am now entitle to half of all assests which is nothing. Can my sister legally get away with this. She took assets of $900.000+

Re: inheritance
You have to establish that your sister exerted undue influence or otherwise took advantage of your mother's state of mind.
