Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
I was a joint bank account holder on my fathers account. He put me on after my mom passed. My dad passed, is that money part of the estate? I am not executor but I paid for his funeral expenses and headstone out of it. I then closed the account and divided the remaining money between my 2 siblings.

Yes it was. Creditors get paid before heirs.
