Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

I have had a Lawyer since the end of December. I have been waiting for 6 months for an administration paper from probate. My lawyer has not returned my calls in 2.5 months. Is this appropriate about of time to wait for the administration paper? or should I get a new lawyer? Thanks

Was he probating the Will. There are certain preliminaries which may take time to put in place, However, he should have been in touch with you about this, to inform you of the status.
