my mom's will is said to be null and voided because signed it as her power of attorney in her presence and that of her lawyer and withness..........she also has a previous will. does all go back to the previous will

You cannot sign a will by power of attorney. The will is null and void. Unless the previous will was destroyed by your mother, the previous will would be used.
