Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My mother passed away and had a trust and pour over will. Will I have toplace this in probate court? I thought the purpose of the trust was to avoid this?

The pourover is for any assets not in the trust.

If everything was titled into the trust, you will not need to probate the will.
