Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

My mother is 84, and in poor health. She doesn't have much money, but she does have a will. It's obvious there won't be enough to pay off her bills, particularly credit cards, when she passes away. I know they can take her bank account and any stock she may have. Will I also be obligated to sell her jewelry, furniture, small appliances, etc. to help satisfy her debts, or are they exempt?
