Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My mother recently passed away, intestate. I am an only child, and next of kin. She was legally separated from my father. Personally property value is under $20,000 and there is no real property. Credit card debt is approximately $1200. Am I responsible for paying this? If no, what happens to it? Thank you

No, her estate, if any, is. Debt appears to be uncollectible. Advise credit card.
