Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

We just moved from Florida to NY. My partner had given me life use of the house at that address. Now we have moved to NY and he would like me to have the same here. We have been living together since 2017. Can we do an addendum to change that addendum to this without doing a whole other trust?

The trust document will say whether or how it can be amended, so no one can answer this question without looking at what the trust says. Almost certainly this isn't something you can do without a lawyer.
