I am a ny state notary and my husband is a beneficiary of his aunts will. He needs to sign forms and have then notarized to get his share, can I notarize for my husband

You can notarize. In the old days, your status as his wife would add credibility to your identification of him and your authentication of his signature.

Of course, this is not the 17th century and this is just a bad idea. Have him go to the bank and get his signature notarized there.
