NY intestate

NY citizen dies w/o will. Never married & no kids, has Sister in NY & brother in FL. What does brother in FL need to do to receive under NY intestacy law?

Re: NY intestate

An administration proceeding must be commenced in NY since the decedent's domicile was in NY. Brother in Florida (and sister) are named in the petition. When property is sold in NY, money divided among brother and sister.
