Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

My parennts passed away several years ago and left me approximately 135,000 in a trust that is managed by a brother in california. The trust is in NY.The trust states I am entitles to allowances for shelter food and clothing etc. I have been asking for a balance in this account since 2010, which i have not received. I have received disbursements for various needs throughout the years. When I ask for a statement they say they have to calculate it, wouldnt that be as simple as calling the bank and getting a balance? This leads me to believe they are comingling my funds with someone elses. How should I handle this and what are the possible remedies. I am afraid if I take legal action then I wont have any money to live.
