Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
I am having some pretty serious medical problems and I have a living trust from 2006 that is the beneficiary of two large insurance policies and 4 properties that I own. I wanted to make a couple of minor changes to the trust and also had some specific final wishes that I wanted to be know and have not had the time to have the trust amended so I created a living will in hopes that it will work along with the trust. Will this just create more problems instead of what I want it to do?

A living will (life health decisions) will have no effect in this situation.

I agree with David. The trust needs to be amended.

You can prepare an amendment to the living trust. It must be executed in the same manner as the original trust.
