Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Probate Citation

I have received a Probate Citation for a Will that I have no desire to contest. Do I have to appear in court on the date specified in the Probate Citiation?

There is a note at the bottom of the citation that specifically states that I am not required to appear and if I fail to appear that it is assumed that I do not object the relief requested.
