Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

what is a reasonable amount of time to wait until I pursue legal action to force the sale of a house willed to my sister-The Executrix and myself?

More information is needed as there are several possibilites. For example, if the house is specifically given to you and your sister and the will has been probated, you both own the property now and you may force a sale through a partition proceeding. However, I suggest that you have the facts of your situation reviewed by an attorney before you make any decisions.
