This is a requirement of probate, that all blood relatives be notified of the intention to probate, even if they are not named in the Will. This gives you the opportunity to file a caveat if you believe you have a claim or should have been included. If you are a remote relative, this is a mere formality and if you have no claim, just go with it. This is a reply to an Internet question and the rersponse is not intended to be legal advice or as creatring an attoney-client relationship.
