Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
I received a waiver of citation and renunciation and consent to appointment of administrator. If I sign does this mean I am waiving rights to the existing estate. I also wonder if I do not sign what this would mean?

No. You are consenting to appointment of Administrator. If you do not sign, they will serve you with a Citation to appear in Court to resolve the issue.
