You have not specified the type of subpoena involved - to produce documents, testify, or what. Consequently only a general answer can be given. Several things can happen, depending on what the subpoena is for and why you have been served, from the matter proceding to judgemt without your participation, or having people appointed to fill a position that you might have objected to, or litigation being dismissed, or even your being arrested and brought before the Court. More information is required to provide a better response. This is a reply to an Internet question, and the reply is not intended to be legal advice or as creating an attorney-client relationship.
