Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
two sisters have moms poa, (can act separately), one sister has joint account with Mom, mom dies.No will. Can other sister have access to the joint account information, just because she had a poa on mother? New York State. I have no problem giving mothers info, but not my financial info. Does she have a right to the joint bank account records (mine and moms) from the years before mom died? Because she also had a poa.?
