Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
My step-mother added me and my wife to the deed of her house . She maintained life residence. She had a home equity loan that we have been paying . She has recently passed away . The payment was in her name only . Do we continue to pay a bill in her name and are we liable for the rest of the loan.
