Uncle (not blood) who lived with us over 30 years died of cancer left no will, before death, transfered all accounts to only family member with same name. Uncle was putting me through college, Ist semister I failed. Uncle had chosen college & subject I was to take. I told him I wanted to be an auto mechanic, he said OK. Gave me a signed check on christmas day ( 1 month before his death) for the new school aproc 25K tuition. The family member put a stop on this check I was given. what recourse, if any do I have? There is a paper trail he was paying for everything including the rental of the books.
