Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

My Uncle passed away 5 months ago of cancer,My mother is his only sibling He said he had a will with all of his nieces and nephew in it, However, He is married, with no children and his wife doesnt get along with my family, could she have hidden the will? and what can we do, to get what my uncle intended to leave us.

Difficult problem, as if there is no Will produced, estate passes by intestacy (dying without a Will) and wife will get everything. Either you need an original Will or litigation will be involved.
