Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York
Can a waiver of probate form be used for things other than stock transfer? My father passed away in 2007. He was a gun collector, and as such had some pistols. New York State has held the pistols since his death ( this due to NY pistol licensing ). I currently reside in Texas and am wondering if I could use a waiver of probate to have the pistols shipped here to a FFL dealer.

A waiver of probate form only has to do with waiving a right to contest a will. I never heard it being used for pistols being shipped to a dealer.
