Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

waivering your rights in a will

If you are asked to waiver your rights in a will, does that mean that you were named in that will? If not, what does that actually mean?

Re: waivering your rights in a will

It could mean that you were named, but it could also mean you were not named, but could have rights if the will was invalid.
