i browwed a sum of money from my mom, which just passed away an recd a copy of her will today, i browwed $4,200 we had no written or signed agreement, except that amount would be deducted from my inheirtance. In my copy of the will it state that I have an outstanding debt of $10,081.00 how was this amount calculated? intrested or lost of gain on money? I didnt think there would be any intrested added. nor was there ever a discussion of % amount. what do I do allow my family to charge me this, or take legal action an risk making fsmily mad an doning whats fair, pay back basic amount? thank you

Your mother had the right to leave or not leave you whatever she wanted. If she thought $10,081 was a more accurate reflection of what you owed her than $4,200, that was her call and she made it.
