Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Ok, will has been destroyed in a fire, my parents do not remember who the attorney is. How do i find a copy of the will for them?

A copy won't help them. Only an original will may be probated. Have them write a new will.

They should have new wills prepared and have them stored in a fire proof location.
