Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Will estate wording

I am writing a will and want to divide my estate into three equal parts. The problem is, I want to divide my house and money into three equal parts, but my house going to my eldest son since he lives in the area. How do I word that in my will, where everything house and money will be divided into three equal parts without having to liquidate the house? I hope this made since. Thanks.

Re: Will estate wording

You should consult with an elder law attorney to draft and supervise your Will execution.

There are specific legalities that must be complied with in order to assure that your Will is valid.

In other words, the legal cost to prepare a Will is minimal so you should seek the advice of counsel in your area rather than attempt to draft it yourself.
