Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

Does a will need to be probated in the state where the person died or can it be probated in another state? I live in New York, and I am the executor of the will, the beneficiaries are both in N.Y., and the deceased lived in Florida.

It must be probated where decedent was domiciled at date of death. Ancillary probate may be needed if the decedent owned real estate in several states.
