If a person has a stroke and signs a last will and testament the next day in the hospital, are they of legal mind and body?

Re: Last will and testament

This is something for the Surrogate to decide. So called "deathbed wills" tend to be examined much more closely by the Court. The witnesses are generally required to go to the Court even if the will is self-proving.

Feel free to contact me directly if you require assistance in probating the will.
