no wills
if both spouses died and there is no will who is next in line to inherit the estate in New York state?

If their are children then the children or the children of predeceased childlren. If not then the parents, then siblings, then aunts and uncles, then cousins, etc.

I agree with Mike. This follows the intestacy (dying without a Will) laws of NY, which should be available at any Surrogate's web site.
