In , New York. if money was transfered into a ITF prior my mothers death, Does my sister get all these fnds because she was power of attorney. She did this prior to my mother going into a nursing home. Sarah Jane

Generally, I agree with David, but more facts might be needed for a better response. For instance, why was the account registered this way? Did your mother consent to this, or did your sister do it by herself? Who will get the money if there is anything left when Mom passes away? There may be more questions, the answers to which might change my response.
