Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in New York

New York State.

1 brother died intestate succession leaving 2 brothers 50/50 to split sale of house.

During probate one of the two surviving brothers died leaving one living brother with the estate still active.

The second brother that passed had a wife and kids.

Can the wife and kids claim the estate of the first brothers death?
