authorization for medical treatment
My doctor has requested several tests. Does the insurance carrier have to respond by a certain time?
Have been waiting for a couple of months now.

Generally, an insurance carrier has 30 day to either authorize or have you examined. Your doctor should file an MD-1 form with the WCB to expidite you treatment issue. Our office can be contacted at 631 / 539 / 9950
