Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

i would like to know if i was with someone for 12 yrs. and he had a workers compensation case and he has pass on before he could received it am i entitled to it

I don't quite understand you question. If the question is do you receive workers' compensation benefits when your spouse dies the answer is "it depends". Did your spouse die because of a work related accident? I need more information.
