Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

comp lawyer fees

I am settling my case. I've only had lawyer for 2 years. How much can they take from my settlement? Can I contest the fee or part of it if I think it's too high?

I would not contest the fee. Your lawyer probably deserves what he is getting. Comp cases can be difficult.

It is privately settled and cannot be contested. It is contract in which you have entered with free will and consent. Contract is binging.
