Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

hurt on the job

I had been asked to perform the task of gathering carts by a manager, although it was not in my job duties i performed the task because we had been told cashiers now gathered them. while i was doing so i had one of the top pieces fall a injure my wrist. i was wondering if there was anything i could do because i am having a hard time with this situation. so i guess the question i am asking is what if anything, can i do if i was injured while performing someone elses job task?

My firm does workers' compensation and has 10 offices throughout NY. Please feel free to call me to see if we can help you. If you were injured on the job, you are likely entitled to benefits. It probably depends on the nature of the injury.
