Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

i was injured on my job, i hurt my back and now have an herniated disc on both sides. my employer is giving me a hard time by being callus and inhumane telling me if i cant work then i just stop working and stay home. what are my rights and how should i respond to this treatment.

What does your doctor say? Does you doctor say that you are totally disabled? Partially disabled? Not disabled? What limitations does your doctor place on you? You should do what your doctor says and file for workers' compensation.
