Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York

first injury caused seond injury

I had a fall at work which caused a massive rotator cuff tear which was

not repaired by surgery. The condition was so intense and the insurance company refused home health care at the time. Subsequently I used my other hand extensively for all functions of living. I developed pain in that arm and my doctor feels it was caused by the demands placed on it. The insurance company is fighting thisl Do I have a claim for coverage and/or is there compensation for a causal injury.
